Boroklene is formulated for cleaning and preserving firearms from the corrosive effects of the atmosphere. Based upon a highly polar material, which has an affinity to metal surfaces to such a degree that it will displace moisture from surface and replace with a thin film that resists oxidation, although soft, is extremely tenacious.
